Double Fatal Traffic Collision at Quivira and West Mission Bay

Kody Grant Hornburg died following a car accident that occurred in the area of Quivira Avenue and West Mission Bay Drive.

Deadly Car Accident in Mission Bay

According to FOX5 News, a Toyota Prius and a motorcyclist collided at the intersection in Mission Bay on May 18, Thursday. Earlier reports indicated 39-year-old Donna Miroslava Munoz was a passenger in a Toyota Prius traveling on Mission Bay Drive. Officials said the driver attempted to make a right hand turn onto Quivira Road. In the process of making the turn, a motorcycle driven by 34-year-old Hornburg slammed into the passenger side of the Prius. The force from the impact resulted in fatal injuries to both Kody Grant Hornburg and the passenger in the car. Responding paramedics pronounced the victims dead at the scene.

Authorities added four other occupants in the Prius sustained varying injuries. Medical personnel transported all four patients, including an infant, to nearby hospital for treatment and further evaluation.

At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the traffic accident that happened at Quivira Avenue and West Mission Bay Drive in Mission Bay.
