65-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash 

CHP reported a deadly hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Jurupa Valley Tuesday evening. 

The incident took place around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Pacific Avenue. 

Kathy Atterberry, 65, of Jurupa Valley, was struck by a vehicle on June 28th. 

It is unclear at this time what led to the crash. 

The involved driver fled the scene immediately after. 

Sadly, Atterberry was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m. 

No details have been provided on the suspect. An active investigation remains underway.
