Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Los Angeles
The woman who was killed in a pedestrian crash on Monday night has been ID’d as Karina Hernandez Melchor, 35.
The incident took place around 10:15 p.m. on September 26th in South Los Angeles.
A southbound vehicle struck the woman on South San Pedro Street while she was in a marked crosswalk.
The involved driver, a 20-year-old male, was fully cooperative with authorities after the accident.
An active investigation remains underway.
