Deadly Off-Road Accident Kills Teen Boy

Authorities have identified 15-year-old Julian “Juju” Mendoza as the teen boy who was killed in an off-road crash on Sunday night.

The accident occurred in Victorville in the 16200 block of Winona Street between Sunset Canyon Way and Sixth Avenue.

According to CHP, the crash took place at 5:45 p.m.

The off-roading vehicle reportedly rolled-over in the open desert due to the driver losing control.

Mendoza was the passenger in the vehicle and was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

As a result, the teen boy was ejected from the vehicle and sustained major injuries.

He was rushed to Desert Valley Hospital where he sadly died due to his injuries.

In addition, the rear passenger suffered a minor hand injury and also received treatment at the same hospital.
