Man Killed in Fresno County Pedestrian Crash

47-year-old Jose Fernandez was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night.

News reports included that the incident occurred on March 19th at 11:35 p.m. near James Avenue on Highway 180.

A Hyundai Elantra was traveling west when it struck Fernandez.

The man was located on the ground by paramedics and sadly died despite life-saving efforts. 

In addition, the Hyundai driver did not report any injuries. 

The crash remains under investigation.
