Authorities have ID’d Jenny Williams As One Of Two Killed in Crash
Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash that happened on Sunday, August 22nd in Los Molinos.
CHP reported that the collision took place at about 7:35 a.m. on State Route 99E, just north of Butler Street.
54-year-old Jenny Williams was among the two people killed.
According to CHP, Michael Hunter, 59, was driving a Ford Focus northbound when he drifted into the southbound lane. As a result, he collided with a 2019 Isuzu which was driven by 39-year-old Nicholas Hall.
The Ford continued heading north on the southbound lane following that collision, then ended up colliding head-on with a Nissan Sentra that was driven by Williams.
Michael Hunter and Jenny Williams were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Those in the Isuzu sustained no injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
