One Killed in Hawthorne Motorcycle Crash
A motorcycle rear-ended another vehicle on the 405 Freeway in Hawthorne on Sunday morning.
The collision occurred on January 16th just before 11 a.m.
Investigators are actively working to determine the cause of the crash that took place within the northbound lanes.
There were reportedly two people on the motorcycle and one was injured and Jeffery Lanie, 37, sadly died.
Authorities also blocked two of the right lanes between the 105 Freeway and Century Boulevard.
The crash remains under investigation.
