Fatal Motorcycle Collision at Vista Del Mar and W Imperial Highway 

48-year-old Jay LaPlante was killed after his motorcycle collided with another vehicle Monday morning. 

The LAPD reported that the crash occurred just before 6:15 a.m. in Playa Del Rey on March 21st.

The accident took place at the intersection of Vista Del Mar and West Imperial Highway.

It was reported that a vehicle made a left-hand turn in front of LaPlante’s bike, resulting in a collision and major injuries. 

LaPlante went down in the roadway and sadly died at the scene. 

The involved driver stopped at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
