San Jose Crash Results in Death of Jaime Perez 

An impaired driver fatally struck Jaime Lopez Perez, 26, of Pleasanton last Saturday in San Jose. 

The Pleasanton man reportedly crashed into three parked cars on Hellyer Avenue around 3:30 in the morning. 

Perez then exited his vehicle following the crashes and was hit by a westbound Dodge truck. 

Sadly, Perez was declared dead at the scene on September 3rd. 

The involved driver, Rolando Lopez, 23, stayed at the scene but showed signs of intoxication. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on vehicular manslaughter and DUI charges. 

An active investigation remains underway.
