Isaiah Garrett ID’d as Driver Killed in Crash

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Bureau has ID’d the man who was killed in a traffic collision last Friday, September 10th. 

19-year-old Isaiah Garrett of Palmdale was the victim of a fatal accident on Highway 138. 

The tragic accident took place around 5:12 p.m. just west of Fort Tejon Road, per reports. 

According to CHP, Garrett was driving eastbound in his Nissan Altima when he veered to the left. As a result, he drifted into the westbound lane and collided with a 2021 Ram 1500. 

Sadly, Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lloyd Marcus and Clarissa Leimis, the driver and passenger of the Ram 1500, also sustained major injuries. 43-year-old Lloyd Marcus was taken to Northridge Hospital and 41-year-old Clarissa Leimis was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. 

The Antelope Valley CHP office is actively investigating the crash. Anybody with additional information is urged to contact their office at 661-948-8541.
