5 Freeway Accident Leaves 1 Hurt
Investigators are working to determine the cause of a motorcycle collision that took place in Sacramento Wednesday morning.
Per CHP, the crash occurred on July 13th just before 8 a.m. on the 5 Freeway.
A motorcycle and red sedan collided within the southbound lanes near El Camino Avenue.
Due to the impact, the motorcycle caught fire, causing minor injuries to the rider.
An active investigation remains underway.
According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
