DUI Crash Near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road

On Thursday, at around 2:15 a.m., a vehicle crashed in the southbound side of the highway 101 near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road. The incident was logged as a suspected DUI crash, according to reports.

When emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle veered off the roadway. According to witnesses, the car slammed into a palm tree.

The force from the impact caused one of the two female passengers to eject from their seat. Paramedics rendered aid to both women. Only one sustained major injuries as a result of the crash.

Investigators believe alcohol played a role in the accident.
