Multi-Vehicle Crash in Riverside, CA

Three vehicles collided on the 91 Freeway Thursday afternoon near Tyler Street in Riverside, California. The multi-vehicle collision happened at about 1:30 p.m. on May 20, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black SUV and a red Chevrolet Cobalt rear-ended a silver Lexus sedan in the No. 2 lane of the highway. Authorities said the driver in the Chevrolet was slumped over the steering wheel following the crash, but their injuries sustained were minor.

A tow truck was called to remove at least one of the cars due to extensive damage. There is an ongoing investigation to determine liability for the crash.
