Crash in Compton, CA on Freeway

At about 11:09 a.m. on May 19, a Compton crashed happened on the 710 Freeway. The early Wednesday wreck took place near Alondra Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a gray Toyota RAV4 allegedly rear-ended a black Honda Civic. The collision happened on the southbound lanes of the freeway.

The RAV4 sustained major front-end damage, while the Honda took major rear-end damage. Both of the vehicles blocked the slow lane of the highway. Tow trucks were called to help remove the cars from the freeway, since there was heavy damage to both.

A woman in the Toyota suffered injuries. No other details have been released at this time.
