Injuries Reported After Lamont Hit-and-Run Crash

At least on person sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash at Highway 184 and Hall Road in Lamont.

The California Highway Patrol group reported the accident on Sunday night at about 8:44 p.m.

According to CHP group, a car possibly struck a male victim in Lamont. The driver involved hit him for an unknown reason at the intersection of Highway 184 and Hall Road.

When the paramedics arrived at the scene they found the person left lying near a pole as a result of the collision. Medical personnel treated the patient for the injuries, but no further information was released.

Meanwhile, authorities believe the motorist did not stop after hitting the victim and fled the area.
