Hit-and-Run Crash Leaves 1 Injured

Authorities reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area of Di Giorgio Road and State Route 184.

Initial records indicated two vehicles collided at the Bakersfield intersection on June 27, Sunday.

According to the CHP group, the cars involved in the wreck as a dark green car, and a gray Dodge Challenger. For reasons still unknown, the two vehicles crash at Di Giorgio Road and State Route 184 at approximately 1:50 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol dispatch mentioned one motorists fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.

Meanwhile, authorities said at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Emergency crew rendered aid to the victim, whose name and condition have not been released.

Detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash at Di Giorgio Road and State Route 184 in Bakersfield.
