Deadly Motorcycle Collision Reported on State Route 111
CHP reported a fatal motorcycle accident in Imperial County on Wednesday, September 14th.
The wreck occurred on State Route 111 near Beal Road in Niland.
A semi-truck was traveling north before it struck a Honda motorcycle which was operated by a 40-year-old man.
Sadly, the rider sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. Their identity is being withheld pending notification of kin.
Investigators are actively working to piece together all of the details of the accident.
