Deadly Motorcycle Collision at Fairview and Santa Ana Valley Roads
CHP are actively investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that took place in Hollister Tuesday evening.
Reports included that the incident occurred at 5:38 p.m. on March 1st at the intersection of Fairview and Santa Ana Valley Roads.
A westbound Chevrolet Silverado collided with the northbound motorcyclist at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
The rider ended up on the ground and unfortunately died at the scene.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of kin.
No details have been made regarding the driver of the Silverado.
Authorities also shut down the area for a period of time following the wreck.
