The tragic accident occurred on October 5th in the North Hills area of San Fernando Valley.

At around 5:30 a.m., the vehicles collided on West Nordhoff Street in the 16500 block.

According to reports, the fatal crash was set off by the driver of a stolen black Range Rover.

The driver was reportedly speeding southbound on Hayvenhurst Avenue when they ran a red light.

As a result, the Range Rover collided with a Honda Civic and two additional unspecified vehicles.

Two people were trapped inside of the Honda Civic and the female driver unfortunately died at the scene.

The male passenger was rushed to the hospital with major injuries and is in critical condition.
