Fatal Bicycle Accident in El Monte 

59-year-old Ruben VIcario was hit and killed by a vehicle in El Monte Tuesday night.

Vicario was riding a bicycle at El Monte Avenue just before 9 p.m. before being hit by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at the intersection of El Monte Avenue and Lower Azusa Road on March 24th. 

Vicaro suffered major injuries and sadly died at the scene of the crash.

It was also reported that the involved driver did not stop at the scene. 

Authorities are now searching for the suspect who was driving a 2019 or 2020 maroon or burgundy Toyota Avalon. It likely has major front-end damage.
