Chico Car Crash on Skyway Road near Rocky Bluff Drive Injures 1

One person was seriously injured in a car crash that happened in Chico on Thursday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:20 p.m. on Skyway Road near Rocky Bluff Drive.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The officers did not immediately establish how the accident happened.

One person was seriously injured in the accident and a helicopter was requested to airlift the victim to an area hospital.

More details about the accident were not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
