Collision on Hwy
Two vehicles collided head-on in Crestline on Tuesday on Highway 138.
Also known as Highway 138, the crash took place on Rim of the World Highway on September 7th around 12:40 p.m.
According to reports, an SUV was speeding when the driver lost control, causing a collision with oncoming traffic.
As a result, the SUV collided head-on with a Volkswagen near the Crestline Bridge.
Authorities issued a SigAlert since both vehicles were blocking the roadway following the collision.
While it is unknown how many people were injured, paramedics did respond to the scene for treatment. Tow trucks were also needed to remove the vehicles.
