Guadalupe Sandoval, Ubaldo Palacio Killed in Fresno DUI Crash

Guadalupe Sandoval, and Ubaldo Palacio both died following a suspected DUI crash that occurred in the area of Elm and American Avenue.

According to Fresno Bee News, 67-year-old Sandoval and 64-year-old Palacio were riding in a gold 2002 Pontiac Grand Am traveling near Easton Friday afternoon. Earlier reports indicated the Pontiac collided head-on into a wrong-way silver 2016 Hyundai Sonata.

The catastrophic incident took place at the a four-way stop intersection of Elm and America around 4:10 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found the driver and passenger in the Pontiac both suffering in serious injuries. Paramedics rushed the two victims to Community Regional Medical Center; but they both sadly succumbed to their trauma and eventually died. Authorities later identified the deceased as Guadalupe Sandoval; and Ubaldo Palacio, of Fresno.
