Drunk Driver Hits & Kills Woman on Clinton Keith Road
A fatal pedestrian accident involving a drunk driver occurred in Murrieta Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred on March 23rd around 8 a.m.
71-year-old Gloria Henry was walking across Clinton Keith Road when a drunk driver struck her.
Henry sadly died at the scene.
57-year-old Rodney Wayne Phillips, the involved driver, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Phillips also fled the scene and was arrested on hit-and-run charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
