Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Reeds Creeks Road
52-year-old Gitan Whelan was killed in a motorcycle accident in Red Bluff on May 13th.
The accident occurred at 4:35 p.m. on Reeds Creek Road according to CHP.
Whelan was traveling west when he crossed into opposing traffic.
As a result, the man collided with an eastbound Nissan Rogue driven by Lisa Mann.
Sadly, the rider suffered severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
No injuries were reported from the occupants of the Nissan Rogue.
The crash remains under investigation.
