1 Killed in Accident on East North Avenue 

Two vehicles collided under unclear circumstances in Fresno Wednesday morning.

The accident took place around 12:45 a.m. on April 6th on East North Avenue. 

Per CHP, a Toyota Rav4 collided with another vehicle, causing the Toyota to overturn. 

As a result, both vehicles ended up blocking the roadway. 

Sadly, one person died due to the impact of the wreck.

Tow trucks were also needed to remove the cars from the scene. 

CHP are actively investigating the collision.

 Rollovers account for only 3% of all serious collisions; however, 30% of them result in a fatality. 

According to the NHTSA,  almost 80% of rollovers involve one car. Additionally, roughly 250,000 vehicles that are involved in a rollover are left undriveable.
