Father Killed in Accident on Ashlan Avenue
An impaired driver caused a deadly traffic accident in Fresno Sunday evening, June 19th.
CHP reported that the driver of a truck drifted into opposing traffic, slamming head-on into a Nissan sedan.
The Nissan was driven by a man, his wife and one of their two children.
It was around 7 p.m. when the crash took place on Ashlan Avenue.
Sadly, the father was declared dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld at this time.
The wife and child suffered unspecified injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities also arrested the other driver on suspicion of DUI.
