Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 180 

CHP are investigating an accident involving five vehicles that occurred on Thursday morning in Fresno. 

The crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. on the westbound 180 freeway near Chestnut Avenue. 

It is unclear, however, what led to the collision, but several children were injured as a result. 

The children are expected to be okay as their injuries were minor. 

Additional information will be made once an investigation is concluded. 

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.
