CHP reported a two-vehicle traffic accident in Fresno County on Wednesday afternoon.

The collision took place around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Fowler and Conejo Avenue on April 13th.

A truck driver was unaware that oncoming traffic did not have a stop sign and proceeded through the intersection, t-boning another vehicle.

No occupants of the truck were harmed.

The crash remains under investigation.

According to the NHTSA, more than 50% of all car accident deaths involve a t-bone collision. These are often more deadly than rear-end or head-on collisions.
