Fontana Crash Sends Police Officer to the Hospital

A collision involving a police car took place on Tuesday night, August 10th in Fontana, CA. 

According to reports, the two-vehicle collision was at the intersection of Baseline Avenue and Orlando Drive. The crash occurred at. about 5:55 p.m. 

The Fontana police officer was driving east on Baseline Avenue when it crashed with a second vehicle. 

Additionally, the patrol car was moderately damaged and the officer was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center with unspecified injuries. 

Reasons as to what led to the collision is currently under investigation. 

As a result of the crash, the intersection was blocked off for a period of time.
