42-Year-Old Woman Struck by Vehicle on Flamingo Road
A vehicle hit a woman in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon, resulting in major injuries.
The incident took place on Flamingo Road just after 12:30 p.m. on February 12th.
An Audi was traveling east with a Jeep following close behind.
Per reports, the Audi slowed down as it was approaching the woman who was running across traffic lanes.
As the Audi slowed, the Jeep rear-ended it, causing the Audi to hit the woman.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition.
In addition, both the driver and passenger of the Audi suffered only minor injuries.
Police shut down both directions of Flamingo Road between Maryland Parkway and Escondido Street.
The crash remains under investigation.
