Crash on Sepulveda Boulevard Leaves One Person Dead 

Two vehicles collided on Monday night, November 22nd in Granada Hills resulting in the death of one person. 

According to reports, the crash took place around 5:15 p.m. at 13470 N. Sepulveda Boulevard. 

A white van and a maroon car were the two vehicles that collided under unknown circumstances. 

One of the two people that were injured had to be extricated from the vehicle by the LAFD. 

The other person, sadly, sustained major injuries and was declared dead at the scene. 

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of kin. 

Investigators are actively working to determine liability. 

In 2020, studies showed that the state of California reported 3,723 motor-vehicle deaths which was an increase from 2019.
