Fatal San Jose Pedestrian Accident HWY 101, McKee Road

A fatal San Jose pedestrian accident happened early Friday morning on Highway 101, just north of McKee Road.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 about 6:15 a.m. on Dec. 16th, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.

A driver in a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck reportedly struck the victim due to unknown circumstances.

Paramedics responded, but sadly the victim died at the scene.

Meanwhile, police closed down several lanes due to the San Jose pedestrian accident and subsequent investigation. Finally, a tow truck removed the damaged pickup truck from the roadway.
