1 Injured and 1 Killed in Sacramento County Collision

40-year-old Rubin Staton died in a traffic collision on Wednesday, October 27th. 

The deadly accident took place at 2:30 a.m. between Gibson Ranch and Dominion Way. 

A male passenger and driver were reportedly driving northbound at a high rate of speed on Elverta Road. 

The vehicle allegedly spun out of control as the result of veering off the road to the right shoulder. 

It then got back onto the road and struck a pole.

Due to the impact, Rubin Staton died at the scene of the crash. 

The second person involved sustained injuries as well, however their condition is unknown.
