Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Reported in North Sacramento

A man was killed in North Sacramento hit-and-run near Northgate Boulevard and Tandy Dive. According to reports, the fatal crash happened on Sunday night at approximately 9:10 p.m.

The crash happened when a male pedestrian was walking and for unknown reasons a vehicle struck him near the North Sacramento intersection.

When the emergency crew arrived at the scene, they found the man dead lying on the road.

Authorities confirmed that the driver failed to stop and render aid to the man and fled the scene immediately. Police are still searching for the motorist.
