Bryan Alba Killed in Poway 

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred in Poway on Friday evening.

The incident took place on January 21st at 7:15 p.m. on Community Road. 

34-year-old Bryan Alba was reportedly crossing the 13000 block when he was struck by a pickup truck. 

The involved driver stopped at the scene to call 911. 

Alba was taken via ambulance to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido but sadly died at the hospital shortly after. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault.
