Fatal Multi-Vehicle Colton Car Crash

Tow Truck Driver Killed in Traffic Accident

One person died as the result of a three-vehicle collision on Tuesday afternoon, November 9th.

The fatal collision occurred in Colton around 1:08 p.m. in the area of South La Cadena Drive and West Litton Avenue.

A tow truck, Joint Unified School District Bus and third unidentified vehicle were among those involved.

It was reported that the driver of the tow truck was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are actively working to determine what may have factored into the collision.

Multi-vehicle collisions are typically more common in busy intersections or highways. Speeding, weather, distractions, and drowsy or intoxicated driving are main reasons negligent drivers cause these types of wrecks.

When it comes to filing a claim with this type of collision, it gets difficult. This is because multiple vehicles are involved so determining liability can take much longer. Multi-vehicle collision claims are more complex due to numerous victims, multiple negligent drivers, cross-claims and insufficient insurance.
