Fatal Long Beach Hit-and-Run Accident Near Harbor Avenue
On Valentine’s Day 2023 around 9:15 AM, a fatal Long Beach hit-and-run accident took place, claiming the life of one unfortunate individual. According to the Long Beach Police Department, the collision happened on Pacific Coast Highway and Harbor Avenue.
A Closer Look at the Long Beach Hit-and-Run Accident
When Long Beach Police arrived to the hit-and-run accident scene, they found an adult man suffering from life-threatening injuries caused by the impact. Paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department soon arrived to the scene, where they unfortunately pronounced the male victim dead. In an additional statement, authorities mentioned that the hit-and-run driver did not stop and unfortunately, fled the scene. Police have withheld the victim’s identity. Investigators are currently working to locate the motorist and properly determine fault. Witnesses with information are urged to contact the Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
