16-Year-Old Boy Killed in Los Angeles Scooter Accident 

A vehicle collided with an e-scooter on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in the death of Ruben Castano. 

The incident occurred in Los Angeles around 4 p.m. in the Vermont Square area. 

The 16-year-old boy sadly died at the scene of the crash on February 9th.

It is unclear at this time what led to the deadly accident within the 4200 block of South Figueroa Street. 

There also has not been any details provided regarding the involved driver.

An active investigation is underway.
