1 Hurt & 1 Killed in Collision at Juniper Avenue and Foothill Boulevard 

One person died as the result of a two-vehicle collision in Fontana early Thursday morning. 

The accident took place at 4:43 a.m. at the intersection of Juniper Avenue and Foothill Boulevard on June 2nd. 

A Chevy SUV was heading east on Foothill at the same time a Nissan sedan was turning onto Juniper from Foothill. 

The cars collided under unclear circumstances, causing major injuries to both the male driver of the SUV and female driver of the sedan. 

Both were rushed to the hospital for treatment where the woman sadly died due to her injuries. 

Identities are being withheld at this time pending notification of kin. 

Authorities also issued a closure of Foothill and Juniper for several hours following the crash. 

Investigators are actively working to determine fault.
