Motorcyclist Killed, Another Injured in Collision on Foresthill Road
A motorcycle collision left one man dead and another injured in Auburn, California on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred on April 3rd just before 3:30 p.m. on Foresthill Road.
Per CHP, Robert Williams, of Sacramento, was traveling west in a Hyundai Sonata before he veered into oncoming traffic.
As a result, his vehicle hit a Harley-Davidson motorcycle head-on.
Sadly, the 45-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
In addition, paramedics transported WIlliams to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with minor injuries.
CHP are actively investigating the accident.
According to statistics, approximately 80% of accidents involving a motorcycle result in injuries or death.
