One Killed in Crash on Indian Street and Delphinium Avenue

A suspected DUI collision resulted in the death of one person in Moreno Valley Sunday afternoon.

The accident took place on February 27th just before 4:50 p.m.

It was at the intersection of Indian Street and Delphinium Avenue when a Dodge Ram truck broad-sided a Toyota Solana.

The impact sent the Toyota across the roadway before it came to a rest on the north side of the intersection.

Firefighters had to extricate the driver of the Toyota and rush them to a nearby hospital. Sadly, the driver was declared dead shortly after.

The other driver stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities.

Alcohol is also suspected to have factored into the collision.
