Motorcycle Accident Left One Dead in Bel Air, CA on August 2nd 

The crash took place around 11:30 p.m. on Monday at Sepulveda Boulevard and Moraga Drive. 

Members of the LAPD arrived at the scene to find the motorcyclist in the roadway and it is unknown if there were any other vehicles involved. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. 

Following the crash, both lanes of Sepulveda Boulevard were closed for several hours pending investigation. 

In addition, a SigAlert was also issued for the closure of both lanes. LAPD advises anyone who may have additional information to contact authorities. 

Motorcycle accidents, according to the NHTSA, accounted for 14% of motor vehicle accident deaths in 2019. Motorcyclists should be fully aware of the safety challenges in which they face while riding on roads in California. Below are some tips for motorcyclists:
