Semi Truck Accident Leaves 1 injured
On Tuesday, October 26th, two vehicles collided in Fairfield leaving one person injured.
The collision between a semi and Honda Civic took place on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway.
It is unclear at this time what led up to the collision that happened around 9:04 a.m.
Investigators are actively working to determine liability.
In addition, one person was injured, however their condition and whether or not they needed treatment is unknown.
A tow truck was also needed to remove the Honda Civic from the scene.

It is most often those in passenger cars that are killed in large truck collisions. Semi trucks typically weigh 20-30 times as much as passenger cars which leaves occupants of smaller cars more vulnerable.
