Two-Vehicle Collision on Centre CIty Parkway and Ivy Dell Lane

Investigators are working to determine the cause of a two-vehicle collision in Escondido that occurred Tuesday afternoon. 

It was at 2:39 p.m. on February 8th when a red Toyota collided with a silver Honda for unknown reasons. 

The collision took place at the intersection of Centre City Parkway and Ivy Dell Lane, per CHP.

Upon impact, one individual suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

Authorities also shut down the area for a period of time for investigation purposes. 

Further details will be provided once an investigation is concluded.

• Get vehicle to safety if it is moveable, if it is not, put on hazards
• Exchange information with others involved and document everything 
• Call 911 to report accident – they determine who was at fault
