Carlos Castillo ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Accident

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday afternoon in Escalon. 

Carlos Castillo, 19, was traveling west on Dove Road when he stopped at the stop sign while on his bike. 

As Castillo pulled into the intersection, he struck the side of a southbound Lexus.

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected and sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

No injuries were reported from the other driver. 

CHP is actively working to determine fault for the collision.
