Man Killed in Brentwood Pedestrian Crash
54-year-old Erne De La Torre Santiago was hit and killed by a vehicle in Brentwood on Monday morning.
The incident occurred on May 2nd on San Vicente Boulevard just before 7 a.m.
Santiago reportedly parked his car on the side of the road within the 12800 block of San Vicente.
At the same time, a westbound vehicle struck him under unclear circumstances.
The man suffered severe injuries and was located on the ground by paramedics. Sadly, he died at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was fully cooperative with authorities.
Investigators are still working to piece together all of the details of the accident.
