Erik Berg ID’d as Pacific Coast Highway Victim

39-year-old Erik Berg has been ID’d as the pedestrian who was killed in Malibu on Friday morning.

The fatal accident happened around 6:00 a.m. in the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway on September 17th.

A vehicle reportedly hit the man as he was crossing the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The unidentified driver also stopped and fully cooperated with authorities at the scene.

Both directions of PCH were closed between Carbon Canyon Road and Malibu Canyon Road following the accident for investigation purposes.
