37-Year-Old Woman Dies in I-15 Head-On Crash
Authorities have identified one of four people killed in a Las Vegas crash on Monday night.
Per the Clark County Coroner’s Office, 37-year-old Erica Marie Morell was the wrong-way driver who lost her life on January 10th.
The head-on collision occurred on the I-15 Freeway within the southbound lanes around 6 p.m.
A total of four people died and two others were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
In addition, 6 vehicles became involved and the freeway was also shut down for 10 hours following the crash.
It was also discovered that alcohol may have played a role in the collision.

According to NHTSA, more than a quarter (25%) of accident-related deaths are linked to the use of alcohol. With that being said, according to the CDC, there are 30 people that are killed everyday in a car accident as a result of an alcohol-impaired driver. That is equivalent to one death every 50 minutes.
