Hit-and-Run Accident Left Pedestrian Injured at Imperial Avenue and 63rd St in Encanto

According to an article published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the crash happened Wednesday night at around 8:25 p.m.

Authorities said a dark colored vehicle headed west struck the pedestrian while they were crossing on Imperial Avenue at the intersection with 63rd Street. Emergency personnel soon responded to the scene and found the victim in the roadway. The victim had suffered from life-threatening injuries as a result of the wreck and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the CHP confirmed that the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene shortly after.
